1 Day Ol Pejeta Excursion from Nairobi

STANDARD ECONOMY ADVENTURE TOUR PACKAGE
Departure from Nairobi:
- You’ll depart early, typically around 6:00 AM, for the 3.5 to 4-hour drive to Ol Pejeta, which is located near Nanyuki, north of Nairobi.
Ol Pejeta Conservancy:
- Ol Pejeta is one of Kenya’s most famous conservancies, known for its incredible wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino). It’s also home to the last two northern white rhinos on the planet, which are a key conservation focus.
- The conservancy spans over 90,000 acres and is a haven for wildlife conservation, including endangered species like the African wild dog and chimpanzees (Ol Pejeta has a sanctuary for rescued chimpanzees).
Game Drives and Activities:
- Upon arrival, you’ll embark on a game drive where you can spot the diverse wildlife that roams the conservancy.
- You can visit the rhino sanctuary to see the rare northern white rhinos and learn about the ongoing conservation efforts.
- Optional activities may include a chimpanzee sanctuary visit or a lion tracking experience.
Lunch:
- Lunch is usually served at the Sweetwaters Serena Camp or one of the other lodges within the conservancy, offering a relaxing break amidst the wildlife.
Return to Nairobi:
- After the afternoon game drive, you’ll head back to Nairobi, arriving by around 6:00 PM.
Ol Pejeta is a home to only 3 of the world’s last remaining northern white rhinos; also a sanctuary to critically endangered 105 black rhinos. This Conservancy has employed highly trained rhino protection guards. And they also have partnered with international veterinary experts to ensure the survival of these endangered animals.
