Day 1: Tsavo East National Park Highlights

Vast Landscape & Savannah:

Tsavo East is known for its expansive and diverse landscapes, from open plains to bushlands and riverine vegetation.

Aruba Dam: One of the park’s key attractions, the Aruba Dam is a great spot to see elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and various bird species.

Wildlife Viewing :  The park is home to a variety of animals such as lions, cheetahs, giraffes, buffaloes, and a variety of antelope species. Expect to spot large herds of elephants.

Day 2: Salt Lick Game Sanctuary Highlights:

Salt Lick Lodge:

Known for its unique raised architecture, the Salt Lick Lodge offers a stunning view of the surrounding savannah and waterholes. Game Viewing from the Lodge:

Night Game Viewing:

The waterholes near Salt Lick Lodge offer great opportunities for nighttime game viewing. Some animals are more active during the night, offering a different safari experience.

Day 1: Mombasa – Tsavo East

Early morning drive to Tsavo East National Park. Commence the morning  game drive through this largest park, with a chance to spot herds of Red Elephants, Lions, Giraffes, Zebras, Gazelles, Buffaloes, Leopard, Waterbucks, Impalas and different bird species. Have lunch at Voi Wildlife Lodge or Shasha camp. After lunch, drive to Saltlick game lodge. Make gamedrive  and check in at Sarova Saltlick Lodge. Dinner and overnight at the sarova Saltlick lodge.

Day 2: Saltlick – Mombasa

After breakfast, depart for a morning game drive in the sanctuary. Make gamedrive till time for lunch. Have lunch at Sarova Saltlick Lodge. After lunch, check out of the lodge and drive back to your coastal hotel, arriving in the evening.
