4 Days Amboseli, Tsavo West and Tsavo East

STANDARD MID-RANGE SAFARI TOUR PACKAGE

Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

  • Departure from Nairobi: Leave Nairobi early (around 6:00 AM) for Amboseli National Park, located about 4-5 hours south of the city. This park is famous for its large herds of elephants and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
  • Arrival and Check-In: Arrive in the early afternoon and check-in at your lodge or camp.
  • Afternoon Game Drive: After lunch, go on an afternoon game drive. Keep an eye out for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife, all set against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.
  • Overnight: Stay overnight at a lodge or camp within or near the park.

Day 2: Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park

  • Morning Game Drive in Amboseli: Head out for an early morning game drive before breakfast, when the wildlife is most active.
  • Travel to Tsavo West: After breakfast, drive to Tsavo West, about 3-4 hours away. Tsavo West is known for its rugged terrain, Mzima Springs, and the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary.
  • Afternoon Game Drive in Tsavo West: Arrive in Tsavo West in the early afternoon and embark on a game drive. Spot wildlife such as elephants, lions, buffaloes, and possibly leopards. Don’t miss the famous Mzima Springs, where you might see hippos and crocodiles.
  • Overnight: Stay at a lodge or camp in Tsavo West, ideally near the springs or the rhino sanctuary.

Day 3: Tsavo West to Tsavo East National Park

  • Morning Game Drive in Tsavo West: Enjoy an early morning game drive to explore more of the park. Tsavo West is home to the famous “red elephants” that are often covered in the park’s red soil.
  • Travel to Tsavo East: After breakfast, depart for Tsavo East, which is about 2-3 hours away. Tsavo East is one of the largest and oldest parks in Kenya, with a wide variety of wildlife, including large herds of elephants, lions, and cheetahs.
  • Afternoon Game Drive in Tsavo East: Upon arrival, go on an afternoon game drive. The park has beautiful open savanna landscapes and is known for its large elephant populations.
  • Overnight: Stay at a lodge or camp in Tsavo East, close to key wildlife areas.

Day 4: Tsavo East to Mombasa

  • Morning Game Drive in Tsavo East: Start your final day with an early morning game drive. Tsavo East offers great opportunities for wildlife sightings, particularly elephants and big cats.
  • Departure to Mombasa: After breakfast, depart Tsavo East and head towards Mombasa, a 2-3 hour drive.
  • Arrival in Mombasa: Arrive in Mombasa by midday or early afternoon, marking the end of your safari.

Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

Pick up from your hotel then proceed to Amboseli National Park. On arrival, make a game drive en route to the Camp for lunch. Makw more gamedrives in the evening. This park is the home of Elephants, Wildebeest (Gnu), Buffalos, Gazelles, Lions, Cheetahs, monkey families and rare bird species. In the early evening, the clouds clear, exposing the snow –capped dome of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at Kibo Safari Lodge or Sentrim Amboseli camp

Day 2: Amboseli National park- Tsavo West National Park.

Early morning game drives before breakfast then depart for Tsavo West National Park. See the volcanic formations (Shetani Lava Flow) on the way to Mzima Springs where Hippos, Fish and Crocodiles are seen from the underwater hide, later proceed the lodge for check- in as well for lunch, relax until 16:00hrs, time to visit the Rhino Sanctuary. Spot Elephants, Giraffes, the varied bird life of Tsavo West, and of course hopefully the Rhino. Have a view of the beautiful mountains. Dinner and overnight at Ngulia Safari Lodge or Ngulia Safari camp.

Day 3: Tsavo West National Park – Tsavo East National Park.

Early morning game drives before breakfast then depart for Tsavo East National Park. Game drives en route to the lodge for lunch as well as check-in.after lunch relax. Evening game drives which starts at 16:00 Hours through this Kenya’s largest park, with a chance to spot herds of Red Elephants, Lions, Giraffes, Zebras, Gazelles, Buffaloes, Waterbucks, Impalas and different bird species. Dinner and overnight at Sentrim Tarhi Camp or Voi wildlife Lodge.

Day 4: Tsavo East National Park- Mombasa          

Early morning game drives from 6:15am followed by a breakfast at 8:30am. After breakfast proceeds for the last game drives before checking out of the park for lunch at Impala Safari Lodge. Drive to Mombasa/Diani after lunch, arriving at your respective hotel in the early evening,
