Day 1: Tsavo West National Park

  • Morning Arrival and Game Drive: Arrive in Tsavo West, a park known for its volcanic hills, diverse landscapes, and rich wildlife. Start with a game drive where you’ll likely encounter elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and lions. The rugged terrain provides a beautiful backdrop for wildlife viewing.
  • Mzima Springs: Visit Mzima Springs, where crystal-clear water flows from underground rivers, attracting hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species. It’s also a great spot for photography.
  • Game Drive in Tsavo West: Continue your game drive, exploring the park’s rich wildlife. You might spot leopards and cheetahs in the rocky outcrops, and lions on the open plains.
  • Overnight in Tsavo West: Stay at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge or Taita Hills Safari Resort, both offering stunning views of the park and its waterholes.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park

  • Morning Transfer to Amboseli: After breakfast, head to Amboseli National Park, about a 3-hour drive from Tsavo West. Amboseli is known for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro and large elephant herds.
  • Game Drive in Amboseli: Begin your exploration with a game drive in Amboseli. The park is famous for its large herds of elephants, as well as lions, zebras, and cheetahs. The open plains and marshes make for excellent wildlife viewing.
  • Mount Kilimanjaro Views: Enjoy spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, especially early in the morning when the mountain is often visible above the clouds, providing a perfect backdrop for photography.
  • Overnight in Amboseli: Stay at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge or Tortilis Camp, both offering beautiful views of the park and Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 3: Tsavo East National Park

  • Morning Transfer to Tsavo East: After breakfast, head to Tsavo East for another day of adventure. Tsavo East is famous for its vast savannahs, large elephant herds, and iconic wildlife such as lions, cheetahs, and giraffes.
  • Game Drive in Tsavo East: Start your game drive in the open plains of Tsavo East. The park is home to large herds of elephants, which you will likely encounter, along with buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, and predators like lions and cheetahs.
  • Aruba Dam: Visit Aruba Dam, a prime wildlife viewing spot, where elephants and buffaloes come to drink. It’s also a great place for birdwatching.
  • Overnight in Tsavo East: Stay at Voi Wildlife Lodge or Sentrim Tsavo for a comfortable night and the chance to enjoy the park’s wildlife in the early morning and late evening.

Day 4: More Wildlife in Tsavo East and Departure

  • Morning Game Drive in Tsavo East: Start the day early with a final game drive in Tsavo East. The park is home to an abundance of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, lions, and various bird species. The early morning hours offer excellent wildlife sightings and cooler temperatures.
  • Lunch and Relaxation: After your morning game drive, enjoy lunch at your lodge or camp, with the possibility of observing wildlife at the waterholes.
  • Afternoon Departure: After lunch, you can enjoy a final short game drive or relax before departing for your next destination or returning to Nairobi.

Day 1: Mombasa – Tsavo West

Depart Mombasa for Tsavo West through the Mombasa Nairobi Highway. Enter Tsavo West through Tsavo River gate and proceed on to a game viewing along the palm ringed Tsavo River home for hippos and crocodiles. Lunch at Ngulia Safari Lodge. In the evening, visit Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary to search the rare black rhino. Dinner and overnight at Kilaguni Serena Lodge or Rhino Valley Lodge.

Day 2: Tsavo West – Amboseli

Depart  the Lodge after breakfast and proceed to the famous Mzima Springs where some 250 litres of water gush out of the Chyulu Lava flows everyday creating a scenic home to fat pods of hippos and crocodile infested pools. Drive out of Tsavo West on the Shetani lava flows to Amboseli National Park for lunch at Amboseli Sentrim Lodge /Kibo camp.

Evening  game drives on this magnificent park on the back drop of Mount Kilimanjaro in search for lions, cheetah, buffalo, rhino and elephant. Plenty of plains game will be seen. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sentrim Lodge /Kibo Camp.

Day 3: Amboseli – Tsavo East

Have breakfast and check out of the lodge. Make gamedrive while exiting Amboseli National Park and drive to Tsavo East, the largest park in Kenya and famed for its large herds of elephant covered in red dust and the fine scenery. Check in Sentrim Tsavo Camp for lunch and relax. The evening holds yet more game drives.

Dinner and overnight in Sentrim Tsavo Camp/ Voi Safari Lodge.

Day 4: Tsavo East – Mombasa

Have breakfast and go for a gamedrive. Make gamedrive while exiting the park and drive to Voi town for lunch. Soon after lunch proceed to Mombasa an approximately 200kms drive arriving in your coastal hotel in the early evening
