Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve

  • Departure from Nairobi: Early morning departure (around 6:00 AM) to Maasai Mara. The journey takes about 5-6 hours.
  • Arrival and Check-in: Check in at your lodge or camp upon arrival, around midday.
  • Afternoon Game Drive: After lunch, go on your first game drive in Maasai Mara. The park is famous for its Big Five (lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos) as well as cheetahs, zebras, and wildebeests.
  • Overnight: Stay overnight in Maasai Mara.

Day 2: Full Day in Maasai Mara National Reserve

  • Morning Game Drive: Depart early for a morning game drive to spot the wildlife at their most active.
  • Visit a Maasai Village (Optional): During midday, you may choose to visit a Maasai village for a cultural experience (optional and additional cost).
  • Afternoon Game Drive: Continue your game drive after lunch, exploring more of the park’s stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife.
  • Overnight: Another night in Maasai Mara.

Day 3: Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

  • Morning Game Drive: Take a final early morning game drive in Maasai Mara before departing.
  • Travel to Lake Nakuru: After breakfast, drive 5-6 hours to Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned for its flamingos and rhinos.
  • Arrival and Check-in: Arrive by midday and check in at your lodge or camp.
  • Afternoon Game Drive: After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive around the park, spotting rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species, including the famous flamingos.
  • Overnight: Stay overnight in Lake Nakuru.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

  • Morning Game Drive in Nakuru: Head out early for a short game drive to see the park’s wildlife before departing.
  • Travel to Lake Naivasha: After breakfast, drive about 1-2 hours to Lake Naivasha, a scenic freshwater lake famous for its birdlife and hippos.
  • Arrival and Check-in: Check in at your lodge or camp by midday.
  • Afternoon Boat Ride on Lake Naivasha: Take a boat ride on the lake to spot hippos and numerous bird species. You might also visit Crescent Island for a walking safari among the wildlife.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha to Amboseli National Park

  • Morning in Naivasha: If you’re up for it, enjoy a peaceful early morning boat ride or simply relax at your lodge.
  • Travel to Amboseli: After breakfast, embark on a 5-6 hour drive to Amboseli National Park, famous for its elephants and views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
  • Arrival and Check-in: Check in at your lodge or camp in the late afternoon.
  • Afternoon Game Drive: Head out for an afternoon game drive to see elephants, lions, cheetahs, zebras, and more, with a backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.
  • Overnight: Stay overnight in Amboseli.

Day 6: Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park

  • Morning Game Drive in Amboseli: Start your day with an early morning game drive in Amboseli to catch wildlife before the heat of the day sets in.
  • Travel to Tsavo West: After breakfast, drive 3-4 hours to Tsavo West, which is known for its scenic landscapes, Mzima Springs, and rhino sanctuary.
  • Arrival and Check-in: Check in at your lodge or camp by midday.
  • Afternoon Game Drive in Tsavo West: After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive. Visit Mzima Springs to see hippos, crocodiles, and possibly a variety of bird species.

Day 7: Tsavo West to Tsavo East and Departure to Mombasa

  • Morning Game Drive in Tsavo West: Embark on an early morning game drive to spot wildlife and explore more of Tsavo West.
  • Travel to Tsavo East: After breakfast, drive 2-3 hours to Tsavo East, one of the largest and most rugged parks in Kenya.
  • Afternoon Game Drive in Tsavo East: Enjoy a final afternoon game drive in Tsavo East, home to large herds of elephants, lions, cheetahs, and many other animals.
  • Departure to Mombasa: After your game drive, depart Tsavo East for Mombasa (about 2-3 hours away).
  • Arrival in Mombasa: Arrive in Mombasa by late afternoon or early evening, marking the end of your safari.

Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara Game Reserve.

Early morning pick up from your Nairobi hotel or Airport at 7:00am and then drive along the Great Rift Valley, passing by the extinct volcano of Mount Longonot en route to Masai Mara Game Reserve, arriving for lunch as well as check in. Relax until 16:00 Hours time for evening game drive with a chance to see the Big Five; Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and the Leopard; Spot herds of Wildebeests, Zebras, Gazelles, Impalas, Masai Giraffes and other kinds of African wildlife in this fascinating wildlife paradise. Day 2: Masai Mara Game Reserve.

Spend a whole day viewing wildlife in Masai Mara Game reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. Have a chance to see the “BIG FIVE”: Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and Leopard. Wildebeests, Zebras, Cheetahs and Gazelles, other kinds of African wildlife can also be easily spotted. Witness the famous wildebeests (Gnu) and zebra migration from Serengeti (Tanzania) to Maasai Mara (Kenya) between July and September; this movement is one of world wonders. Masai Mara being the stomping ground of the Great Migration, a massive accumulation of 1.5 million wildebeest, 200,000 zebras and 350,000 gazelles stretching their legs over 1,200 miles in an annual race to find enough water and green grass for their survival. Day 3: Masai Mara Game Reserve- Lake Nakuru National Park.

Depart for Lake Nakuru National Park after breakfast, arriving in time for lunch at the camp or lodge as well as check in. Afternoon game drive takes you to the lake to view Flamingos and pelicans. Also, spot White/Black Rhinos, Rothschild Giraffe, Waterbucks and other kinds of African wildlife. The Lake Forest attracts a wide variety of birds. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge or Flamingo Hill camp.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park – Lake Naivasha.

Morning game drives and then depart after breakfast for Lake Naivasha arriving for lunch. Afternoon enjoy boat trip to the lake to view hippos, birds and other kinds of African wildlife (at extra Cost). Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort, or Lake Naivasha Sawela lodge (Full Board).

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park – Lake Naivasha.

Morning game drives and then depart after breakfast for Lake Naivasha arriving for lunch. Afternoon enjoy boat trip to the lake to view hippos, birds and other kinds of African wildlife  Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort, or Lake Naivasha Sawela lodge.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha – Amboseli National Park.

Early morning breakfast then depart for Amboseli National Park, Via Masailand. On arrival, make a game drive en route to the lodge or camp for lunch as well as check in. The afternoon game viewing starts at 16:00 Hours. This Park is the home of Elephants, Wildebeest, Buffalos, Gazelles, Lions, Cheetahs, monkey families and rare bird species. In the early evening, the clouds clear, exposing the snow –capped dome of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at Kibo Safari Lodge or Sentrim Amboseli camp

Day 6: Amboseli National Park –Tsavo West National park.

Early morning game drives before breakfast then depart for Tsavo West National Park. See the volcanic formations (Shetani Lava Flow) on the way to Mzima Springs where Hippos and Crocodiles are seen from the underwater hide. Check in at the lodge as well for lunch, relax until 16:00hrs, time to visit the Rhino Sanctuary. Spot Elephants, Giraffes, the varied bird life of Tsavo West, and possibly the Rhino. Have a view of the beautiful mountains. Dinner and overnight at Ngulia Safari Lodge or Ngulia Safari Camp.

Day 7: Tsavo West National Park – Tsavo East National Park.

Early morning game drives before breakfast then depart for Tsavo East National Park. Game drives en route to the lodge for lunch as well as check-in. Afternoon game drives which starts at 16:00 Hours through this Kenya’s largest park, with a chance to spot herds of Red Elephants, Lions, Giraffes, Zebras, Gazelles, Buffaloes, Waterbucks, Impalas and different bird species. Dinner and overnight at Zomeni Lion Hill Lodge or  Voi Wildlife Lodge,

Day 8: Tsavo East National Park- Mombasa.

Morning game drives before breakfast then proceed for the last game drive en route to Impala Safari Lodge in Voi town for lunch. After lunch drive to Mombasa, arriving in the early evening.
