Day 1: Tsavo East National Park
- Morning Arrival and Game Drive: Arrive in Tsavo East, famous for its vast savannahs and large elephant herds. Start with a morning game drive, where you’ll likely spot elephants, zebras, giraffes, and various antelope species.
- Aruba Dam: A popular wildlife hotspot where you can see elephants and buffaloes coming to drink. It’s also a good spot for birdwatching.
- Elephant Herds: Tsavo East is home to large elephant populations, and you’ll have plenty of chances to see herds, some covered in the park’s distinctive red dust.
- Overnight in Tsavo East: Stay at one of the lodges, such as Voi Wildlife Lodge, for a comfortable night after an exciting day of wildlife viewing.
Day 2: Tsavo West National Park
- Morning Transfer to Tsavo West: After breakfast, head to Tsavo West, which is about 1-2 hours from Tsavo East. This park offers more varied landscapes, including volcanic hills, savannahs, and rivers.
- Mzima Springs: Visit Mzima Springs, where crystal-clear waters flow, attracting wildlife such as hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species. It’s also an excellent spot for photography.
- Game Drive in Tsavo West: Explore the park’s wildlife, including lions, leopards, giraffes, and buffaloes. Tsavo West is known for its scenic beauty, with the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro visible on clear days.
- Overnight in Tsavo West: Stay at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge, known for its beautiful views of the park and waterholes where wildlife often gather.
Day 3: More Wildlife in Tsavo West
- Morning Game Drive: Head out early for another game drive, with the possibility of spotting predators like lions and leopards. The morning light makes it ideal for capturing wildlife photos.
- Sheldrick Falls: If time allows, visit Sheldrick Falls, a stunning waterfall where you can enjoy a scenic hike and see more wildlife along the way.
- Lunch and Relaxation: Enjoy lunch at your lodge while relaxing and taking in the views. Many lodges, like Kilaguni, offer wildlife viewing from your room or the dining area.
- Afternoon Departure: After lunch, you can enjoy a final game drive or relax before departing for your next destination.

Day 1: Mombasa – Tsavo East
Early morning drive to Tsavo East National Park. Commence the morning game drive through this largest park, with a chance to spot herds of Red Elephants, Lions, Giraffes, Zebras, Gazelles, Buffaloes, Leopard, Waterbucks, Impalas and different bird species. Check in as well lunch at the lodge. After lunch, relax. The afternoon will hold yet more game drives. Dinner and overnight at Voi Safari Lodge/ Ashnil Aruba Lodge.
Day 2: Tsavo East – Tsavo West
After breakfast, depart for a morning game drive en route to Tsavo West National Park. Check in the lodge for lunch, after lunch relax. In the afternoon, visit Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary to search the rare black rhino. Dinner and overnight at Rhino Valley Lodge or Kilaguni Serena Lodge.
Day 3: Tsavo West – Mombasa
Depart the Lodge after breakfast and proceed to the famous Mzima Springs where some 250 litres of water gush out of the Chaimu Lava flows per minute everyday creating a scenic home to fat pods of hippos and crocodile infested pools. Make last game drive whilst cheking out of the park. Drive to Voi town for lunch. After lunch drive back to your hotel arriving in the evening.
