STANDARD MID-RANGE TOUR PACKAGE

Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara

  • Morning:
    • Depart from Nairobi in the early morning (about a 5-6 hour drive or a 1-hour flight to Maasai Mara).
    • Arrive at your accommodation in Maasai Mara (luxury lodge, tented camp, or safari camp).
  • Afternoon:
    • After lunch, embark on your first game drive in Maasai Mara. Explore the vast savannahs and keep an eye out for the Big Five (lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinoceros), along with cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and various bird species.
  • Evening:
    • Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and relaxation.

Day 2: Full Day in Maasai Mara

  • Morning:
    • Start the day with an early morning game drive to catch the animals at their most active.
    • Visit key areas like the Mara River, known for its dramatic wildebeest migration (seasonal) and resident crocodiles.
  • Midday:
    • Return to your camp for a leisurely lunch.
  • Afternoon:
    • Continue with an afternoon game drive or opt for a visit to a Maasai village to learn about Maasai culture and traditions.
  • Evening:
    • Return to the lodge, and enjoy a sundowner and dinner.

Day 3: Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru

  • Morning:

    • After breakfast, embark on a final morning game drive in Maasai Mara, catching a last glimpse of the wildlife.
  • Late Morning:

    • Depart for Lake Nakuru (approximately 5-6 hours by road or a shorter flight).
    • Arrive and check-in at your accommodation (lodges or hotels in or near Lake Nakuru National Park).
  • Afternoon:

    • Start your exploration of Lake Nakuru National Park with a game drive. This park is famous for its flamingo populations, white and black rhinos, and diverse wildlife such as giraffes, lions, and various bird species.
  • Evening:

    • Dinner at your lodge or hotel and relaxation after a long travel day.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Nairobi

  • Morning:

    • Enjoy an early morning game drive to explore the park further, possibly visiting Makalia Waterfall or the Baboon Cliff for great views.
    • Spot more wildlife and enjoy the natural beauty of the park.
  • Late Morning:

    • After your game drive, have breakfast and check out of your accommodation.
  • Afternoon:

    • Depart for Nairobi (around 3-4 hours’ drive).
    • Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon or evening, marking the end of your safari.

Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai mara Game Reserve.

Early morning pick up from the Hotel/Airport at 7:00am and then drive along the Great Rift Valley, passing by the extinct volcano of Mount Longonot en route to Masai Mara Game Reserve, arriving for lunch as well as check- in. Relax until 16:00 Hours time for evening game drive with a chance to see the Big Five; Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and the Leopard; Spot herds of Wildebeests, Zebras, Gazelles, Impalas, Masai Giraffes and other kinds of African wildlife in this fascinating wildlife paradise. Dinner and overnight at Mara sopa Lodge or Elangata Olerai Tented camp .

Day 2: Maasai Mara Game Reserve.

Spend a whole day viewing wildlife in Masai Mara Game reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. Have a chance to see the “BIG FIVE”: other kinds of African wildlife, can also be easily spotted. Witness the famous wildebeest and zebra migration (from Serengeti National Park to Masai Mara Game Reserve); this movement is one of world wonders. Masai Mara being the stomping ground of the Great Migration, a massive accumulation of 1.5 million wildebeest, 200,000 zebras and 350,000 gazelles stretching their legs over 1,200 miles in an annual race to find enough water and green grass for their survival. Breakfast, Lunch, dinner and Overnight at Mara sopa Lodge or Elangata Olerai Tented camp .

Day 3:Maasai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park .

Morning game drives and then depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving time for lunch at the camp/lodge as well as check- in. Afternoon game drives takes you around the lake to view Flamingo’s and pelicans. Also, spot White/Black Rhinos, Rothschild Giraffe, Waterbucks and other kinds of African wildlife. The Lake Forest attracts a wide variety of birds. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge or Flamingo Hill camp .

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Nairobi

Have breakfast and check out of the lodge. Morning game drive in this ornithologist park. Have lunch enroute and drive to Nairobi arriving in the early evening. Drop off at your respective Airport or Hotel.
